Trimline supply Porsche showroom expansion, West London

When London-based Trimline were called in to provide tiling materials for the refurbishment and extension of Porsche’s exclusive West End showroom, the team got to work immediately. Started in early 2015, and set to finish in the first quarter of 2016, the project has focused on the creation of new sales and after-sales centres, as well as a brand new MOT testing facility.

Originally hired to supply grout (Mapei), self-levelling compound (Mapei), tools and site consumables, Trimline’s role soon grew to include the supply of tiling movement joints (A-Trim), tile adhesives (Mapei), and a range of other materials necessary to the project.

No strangers to facing tough technical challenges, Trimline worked to design a bespoke method for fixing tiles onto a calcium sulphate screed. The team specified a process and products, and created a solution that has worked exceptionally well for the client. Thanks to Trimline’s in-house technical expertise they were able to resolve the matter quickly, ensuring all tiling work would be commensurate with British standards.

The client has been very pleased with the exceptionally high level of service and technical guidance Trimline have provided throughout. Trimline have since been hired to supply a number of other high-profile projects for the client.
