Trimline Supply Iconic Project: 1 Tower Bridge, London

In early 2014 Trimline were contracted to supply tiling materials for yet another landmark project in London: 1 Tower Bridge. Entering its third year, the iconic project is still underway, and is making excellent progress- in no small part due to Trimline’s high level of service and technical advice. A client representative is even quoted as saying of Trimline’s performance: ‘Your service has been absolutely exceptional’.

Initially hired to provide tiling adhesives, grout, and temporary protection, Trimline’s role has since grown to include the provision of stone sealer, tiling profiles, de-coupling matting, tanking, diamond blades, polishing pads, electrical tile saws, and a wide array of other essential materials.

The project has required the delivery of materials on a next-day basis- very often before 9:30am. With tight turnaround times from order placement to delivery, Trimline have worked diligently to forecast the client’s needs- ensuring all materials are in stock, and ready to be delivered within 24 hours or less. Through forward planning and efficient coordination with the warehouse Trimline have maintained an impressive rate of success in providing super-expedited delivery to the job-site.

But Trimline are more than just suppliers. They have advised on key technical aspects of the project, liaising with sub-contractors to carry out thorough testing of the stone materials. Trimline’s in-house technical expertise and in-depth product knowledge have been counted on to ensure the proper use and application of materials; their input and guidance have proven vital to the project.

The client continues to be impressed with the high level of service Trimline provides on a day-to-day basis. As a result, they have engaged Trimline to work on a number of high-profile projects since 2014.
