Project Overview

Originally hired to supply grout (Mapei), self-levelling compound (Mapei), tools and site consumables, Trimline’s role expanded to include the provision of tiling movement joints (A-Trim), tile adhesives (Mapei), and a range of other products. The project began in early 2015, and will ﬁnish in the ﬁrst quarter of 2016

Challenges

A main technical challenge of the project involved the use of a calcium sulphate screed- onto which the tile had to be ﬁxed. Trimline speciﬁed a process and products in order to tile in accordance with British standards. Trimline’s in-house technical expertise enabled the efficient creation of a tailored solution that worked exceptionally well for the client.

After Thoughts

The client are very pleased with the high level of service and technical guidance Trimline have provided, and have since hired Trimline to supply a number of other high-impact projects.
