Manhattan Loft Gardens

At 143-metres high, designed by the world-renowned high-rise architects Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Manhattan Loft Gardens is an extraordinary double-cantilevered tower of expansive living spaces, three sky gardens, two restaurants and a design hotel.

Superbly situated between the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Stratford International Station, Manhattan Loft Gardens shapes the next generation of loft-living surrounded by some of the most iconic cultural institutions in the country.

Located in Stratford City, London, the tower’s unique structure is propelled by a vision of social potency – embracing green space and fresh air to foster a dynamic community of residents and hotel guests.

Originally a ‘mixed’ specification consisting of products from multiple different brands, Trimline Group where appointed by the Architect and Main Contractor to design and supply one complete guaranteed wetroom package to meet the client’s requirements and expectations.

With its 25 year warranty, and due to the status of the project, Dukkaboard was selected, resulting in another high-end project paying attention to quality in the substrate not just the finished surface.

Dukkaboard Bespoke Shower-Trays where designed and made specifically for each bathroom in the tower, empowering the Architects to fulfil their visual design requirements for the scheme. Tanked completely with Aqua77 products, this was the ultimate wetroom specification.

During the duration of the project, Trimline also supplied Decoupling Mattings, KeraKoll adhesives and Atrim Tiling Profiles to the tiling contractor, Pro Tiling Ltd. Steve, the director mentioned that he found Trimline very helpful and knowledgeable on the products.

Here at Trimline, we aim to make your job easier and want to ensure you receive the right products at the right time. On this project, Lyle dropped off samples and attended meetings with Steve before the contract was secured. Trimline Group also conducted regular training sessions to ensure all fitting operatives knew how to install the products and carried out regular site visits to monitor all aspects of the installation.
