Project Overview

Originally hired to serve as a one-stop-shop for the high-profile project, Trimline have supplied tile backer board (Dukkaboard), tile adhesives (Mapei and Kerakoll), tiling trims (Schluter and Atrim), and stone sealer (Lithofin and Vulcaseal), as well as temporary protection- and have since expanded to supply a wide array of additional products.

Begun in 2012, the large-scale project completed in Q1 2018; Trimline have provided technical advice and hands-on guidance throughout- helping to specify materials, sending product samples to the client, and going on site to train fitters in the proper use and application of materials.

Challenges

In order to assist in streamlining the delivery of materials to the project site, Trimline have worked to strictly scheduled delivery timelines. With specific booking times when materials must be delivered to the project site, the warehouse has had to ensure materials are in stock and ready for transport.

As products are normally required on a next-day basis, Trimline have engaged in forward planning to ensure materials are ready to meet tight delivery deadlines. In order to provide next day service, Trimline have worked diligently to anticipate the on-going material needs of the project.

After Thoughts

As a result, the customer has been pleased with the outstanding level of service provided, and has engaged Trimline to work on a number of other projects since 2012.
