Originally providing adhesives (Python), grout (Python), tile backer board (Dukkaboard), and tiling trims (A-Trim) for the toilets, the role expanded to supplying materials for the lift lobbies and walkways- including tile backer board (Dukkaboard), adhesives (Python), machinery, and electric tile saws.

Trimline provided specification for lift lobby areas, which featured raised access flooring. The team specified the correct backer board, adhesives, and grout to ensure the tiles would not crack.

The loading bay was approximately one mile away from the project site, which posed a logistical challenge. Deliveries were booked-in for exact times, and drivers were required to wait for approval to proceed to the site. Trimline addressed the issue by assigning a dedicated driver who worked only on this project- at no additional cost to the client. This enabled materials to be delivered on-time and within the client’s approved delivery protocol.

Trimline’s high level of service was critical to the success of the project. On one occasion, Trimline delivered requested products to the site; the client phoned to say they were not ready for the materials. Trimline returned and collected the delivery without charging a restocking fee.

Begun at the end of 2013, and completed by the end of 2014, the client was pleased with the result. Trimline will be doing more work with the contractor and several sub-contractors in the future.
